Furesøen and Vaserne - the deepest lake and richest birdlife
Furesøen is Denmark’s deepest lake and one of the largest of Northern Sealand. The birdlife near the lake is very rich and with 15 different species of fish it is popular among anglers. Between Bistrup and Holte you find the lake and marsh area Vaserne with a rich birdlife, a pavilion, and a bird tower.

Baadfarten
Baadfarten sails on the lakes by Holte and Lyngby. The route Frederiksdal – Luknam – Birkerød – Jægerhuset – Holte sails on Sundays and holidays from the first weekend of May until the last weekend of September.
