Gl. Holtegaard was built in 1756. Today, Gl. Holtegaard is an art hall with exhibitions of international calibre. Gl. Holtegaard became an exhibition venue in 1982, following an exhaustive restoration that was awarded the Europa Nostra Award. In summer concerts are held in the park that in 2003 was converted to the barque grounds in accordance with the original design.
